Birding Tring Reservoirs: First REDWINGS

First REDWINGS

Although watching for migration was hindered by low cloud and persistent rain, a period of one hour spent at Picadilly Hill Watchpoint (Ivinghoe Beacon) this morning produced 6 mobile REDWINGS and 2 LESSER REDPOLLS - the former my first of the autumn (LGRE)

Otherwise, Dave Bilcock informs me that the last 4 days in the region have been very quiet with nothing of interest noted.
